About The Scholarship for International Students.
The Université de Montréal Exemption Scholarship for International Students (UESIS) is a competitive scholarship offered by UdeM to international students enrolled in a graduate program at the university. The scholarship is worth $6,000 CAD per year, and it is renewable for up to four years. The UESIS was created in 2017 as part of UdeM’s commitment to attracting and supporting international students. In addition to the financial assistance provided by the scholarship, recipients also receive mentorship, networking opportunities, and language support.
Eligible Requirement
To be eligible for the UdeM Exemption Scholarship for International Students, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be a citizen of a country other than Canada.
- Have a valid study permit from the Canadian government.
- Be admitted to a master’s or doctoral degree program at UdeM.
- Have a minimum GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, or the equivalent.
- Demonstrate financial need, as determined by the university’s financial aid office.
